How it works

Step 1

Connect

Authorize with a Google Workspace admin account, then set up domain-wide delegation in about 2 minutes.

Step 2

Design

Build your signature template with logo, colors, and merge fields.

Step 3

Push

Select users, push, and SignStampd writes signatures via the Gmail API.

Centrally manage signatures across Google Workspace and G Suite

SignStampd is built for one job: centralized Google Workspace signature management. Instead of asking every employee to paste a signature into Gmail settings, an admin builds one template and pushes it to the entire domain. That is the difference between a personal Gmail signature and true company-wide signature management.

If your organization is still on G Suite (the former name for Google Workspace), SignStampd works the same way. The Gmail API and domain-wide delegation it relies on are identical across G Suite and Google Workspace, so G Suite signature management is fully supported with no extra setup.

Because signatures are written directly to each user's account, you can standardize and control email signatures for every sender, update them centrally at any time, and keep a full history of every push - all from one dashboard.

FAQ

How does SignStampd push signatures to Gmail?+

SignStampd uses the Gmail API sendAs.update method with Google Workspace domain-wide delegation. It writes the signature directly to each user's Gmail account settings.

Do employees need to install anything?+

No. Signatures are pushed via the API. Employees just open Gmail and their signature is there.

Does it work on mobile Gmail?+

Yes. Signatures pushed via the Gmail API appear in Gmail on web, and on iOS and Android unless a user has set their own mobile signature in the Gmail app.

What Google Workspace data does SignStampd access?+

Only basic directory information: name, email address, title, and organizational unit. Read-only access. SignStampd cannot read, send, or delete email.

Can I centrally manage email signatures for everyone in Google Workspace?+

Yes. That is exactly what SignStampd does. You build one template and push it to selected users or the entire domain, so signatures are managed centrally rather than left to each employee.

Does SignStampd support G Suite signature management?+

Yes. G Suite is the former name for Google Workspace, and SignStampd uses the same Gmail API and domain-wide delegation. G Suite signature management works with no extra configuration.

Can SignStampd pull names and titles from my Google Directory?+

Yes. SignStampd reads each user's name, job title, and email from your Google Workspace directory and merges them into your template automatically, so every signature is personalized without spreadsheets or manual entry.

Can I lock down a Gmail signature so users can't edit it?+

Gmail itself does not let an admin permanently lock the signature field. SignStampd keeps signatures consistent a different way: because they are managed centrally, you can re-push the approved template to everyone at any time to reset anyone who changed theirs.

Can I push different signatures by department or organizational unit?+

Yes. The push dashboard reads each user's organizational unit from your Google Workspace directory, so you can filter the user list by OU and select everyone in it with one click before pushing a template. Auto-apply for new users can be scoped to specific OUs too, so different departments can land on different templates automatically.
